La re-traumatización es cuando se reviven las reacciones de estrés experimentadas como resultado de un acontecimiento traumático anterior al enfrentarse a un nuevo incidente similar. Sin embargo, al transcurrir el tiempo, muchas personas no se dan cuenta de que el estrés que están sintiendo está relacionado con la experiencia traumática anterior. Re-traumatization is when stress reactions experienced as a result of a previous traumatic event are relived when faced with a new similar incident. However, as time passes, many people do not realize that the stress they are feeling is related to the previous traumatic experience.
