The Comprehensive Community Mental Health Services for Children with Serious Emotional Disturbances Program: 2017 Report to Congress

Get the Facts. is a series of 13 fact sheets designed to increase awareness of the risks associated with prescription opioid use and misuse, as well as to educate patients who are prescribed opioids for pain about the risks and to provide resources on methods for alternative pain management. This particular fact sheet focuses on the importance of properly storing medication in the home to avoid accidental ingestion by children.

Both resources help people living with opioid use disorder compare treatment options and discuss their preferences with a provider.
