This is by far the best workbook I have found to use with dual diagnosis clientele for anger management concerns, after using other workbooks for over 30 years. The workbook is understandable, to the degree that I can now teach managing anger skills to a wider range of clients with varying levels of cognitive functioning when using this workbook. Clients like keeping the workbook so that they can review strategies that help them reduce and manage anger that they need to remain mindful of and practice. This is now the only managing anger workbook I use.

The inmates like to have a workbook to journal their progress in the class. They get lots of papers and throw papers out, but the nice, bound workbook allows them to keep their thoughts and progress organized. The tools they get in the workbook coincide nicely with the cirriculum.

We really enjoy using this publication and hope that it is back in print soon. I am currently using it with inmates at our Women's Prison and having the printed workbook really helps them understand that this is a serious group and not something that I printed off the internet. Have been using the materials for several years and it seems to apply to everyone dealing with anger, substance abuse and mental health issues.

I have been using this workbook for years, but most currently with the veteran population. The vets seem to love being able to write in the book and to take it home. The topics really resonate with them and provides for good discussion since they are able to look ahead and work on different chapters before the class. Great resource!

The workbook is written to allow time and personal review of behaviors. It allow patients in the jail environment to cry, review their life as they determine ways for change page by page. This population does well in short interval progress, page by page. Progressive insight into personal feelings that might have been to sensitive to explore "in the world" but the incentive for success to begin is right in the jail. the workbook structure is a means for success.

This is an excellent publication that we have found to be most helpful for our returning Veterans. Its so good that it stays "out of stock". They would be put to immediate use out here in the field if we could obtain some copies. To download and reproduce has become cost prohibitive, please assist, respectfully, J.
