This guide highlights strategies for behavioral health and housing providers to conduct outreach and engage with individuals experiencing homelessness, initiate use of behavioral health treatment as they wait to receive stable housing and retain them in their recovery efforts once housed.
This guide reviews interventions for people living with substance use and mental disorders who are at risk for or living with HIV. Selected interventions are in alignment with goals of the federal “Ending the HIV Epidemic: A Plan for America” (EHE) initiative.

This infographic is a Spanish language version of information for the general public on the prevalence and impact of traumatic events on children, and what actions can be taken to support children who experience traumatic events.
This fact sheet provides Health Care Practitioners and Disaster Responders with guidelines for communicating with survivors experiencing grief. It give background information about the grieving process and what happens when the grief process is interrupted and complicated or traumatic grief occurs is included as well as helpful resources for additional assistance.
The report highlights the need for HIV treatment providers to address behavioral health concerns with HIV. The report urges providers to start with screening for mental health and substance use disorders, and offers strategies for providers to implement screening practices.
This guide addresses specific treatment needs of adult men living with substance use disorders. It reviews gender-specific research and best practices, such as common patterns of substance use among men and specific treatment issues and strategies.
